Access Control Integration
Access Control and Existing Integration
Access Control Systems are designed and installed to provide protection against unwanted visitors into a property and allow free movement and entry for authorised users where there is frequent personnel traffic.
What is Access Control?
Installing the correct Access Control solution for you will help provide protection to your employees, visitors, stock and your property. In very simple terms, Access Control Systems provide control of entry (or exit) through nominated doors via a control panel and some form of electric locking facility. Access Control Systems can be as simple or as complicated as you desire, but in each case the solution will always provide an easy passage for permitted persons around the building.
Options for Visitors
You may need to provide some way of allowing visitors to gain access to the building once you have identified them as authorised.
- A door bell system to alert your building occupants that someone is wanting to gain access
- An audio intercom panel (door entry phone) can be provided at the door allowing the visitor to have a direct conversation with someone in the building to request that are given access this can be linked to an auto door release to the relevant door.
- An audio intercom panel can also have a camera facility added to it to allow the operator to see who wants to enter the building improving the identification process.
- Often visitors are issued with cards or fobs upon entry to the building to give them entry to the areas they require access to. As there are many variables and influences involved in the set up of an access control system, Delkey systems Ltd can provide you with a comprehensive system design to ensure your system requirements are met.
